Clip
1. Close Clip
2. Make a backup!!
3. Insert disk 1 in the drive then go to Start - Run and type A:setup. Select OK
4. Follow the screen prompts. You should not need to change any of the settings if Clip was installed normally
5. Start Clip. It will show that you just recieved an update, follow the screen prompts.
B. Downloading from our website
1. Go to http://www.clip.com/upd_req.htm and request an update
2. You will be sent a web page and a pass word to be able to download it
3. Click on the download link
4. Select Save this program to disk
5. Select "Save this program to disk" and click "OK"
6. Select a directory outside of the CLIP directory to save the download in. Make sure you save the download in a directory you can find once the download is complete.
TIP: For Windows® 95, 98 & Windows NT®
By clicking the "Save In" field or on the down arrow to right of it you can change the location in which to save the download. A drop-down window will appear. Scroll up until you see "Desktop" and click on it. In the "Save In" field you will now see "Desktop".
In the lower left portion of the "Save In" window you will see "File Name". By default this will read "update.exe". You can change this if you wish, but it is not necessary. By saving the download to your "Desktop" you will have easy access to the file once the download is complete.
7. Select the "Save" button and the download will begin. It may take anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes for the download to complete depending on the speed of your modem and connection.

10. Find the downloaded file and Run it. By following the tip mentioned earlier you will see an Icon on your Desktop that reads "update.exe". If you chose to save the download in another location you will have to access the directory in which the file was saved.
11. Enter the password that was given on the original
