Explanation: An attempt was made to restore from a file that is not a valid memory (.MEM) file.

I. Posting work
Possible Solution:
A. Delete the met.mem file
Instructions:
1. Close Clip
2. Go to Windows Explorer and find the ClipClas or Clippro folder.
3. Go into the men folder
4. Find the met.mem file and delete it.
5. Restart Clip and retry
II. Recording transactions
Possible Solution:
A. Delete the transact.mem file
Instructions:
1. Close Clip
2. Go to Windows Explorer and find the ClipClas or Clippro folder.
3. Go into the Mem folder
4. Find the transact.mem file and delete it.
5. Restart Clip and retry
III. Job costing
Possible Solution:
A. Delete the jobcost.mem
Instructions:
1. Close Clip
2. Go to Windows Explorer and find the ClipClas or Clippro folder.
3. Go into the Mem folder
4. Find the jobcost.mem file and delete it.
5. Restart Clip and retry
IV. User Transactions
Possible Solution:
A. Delete the limem.mem
Instructions:
1. Close Clip
2. Go to Windows Explorer and find the ClipClas or Clippro folder.
3. Go into the Mem folder
4. Find the limem.mem file and delete it.
5. Restart Clip and retry

Possible Solution:
A. Delete all mem files using support menu. This will reset all the user selections to default (check boxes throughout Clip for various options)
Instructions:
1. Close Clip
2. Make sure you have a backup
3. Go to Start - Programs - ClipClassic/Clippro - Support
4. Answer Ok and Yes to the prompts that come up
5. At the Support menu select the Clear Mem Files. Click OK, Yes and Ok
6. Select the Clear CDX
7. Click OK to the done message
8. Select the Return button
9. Restart Clip
10. Answer Ok,Yes and OK to prompts that come up.
